Softball Playoffs Game #1

The Playoffs have begun for softball! Too bad it wasn't a good start for us... It just was a bad news game all around. This was the 3rd time that we had played this team and we had beat them pretty soundly the two previous. This just wasn't our night. It was one of those games where they just hit balls in the right spots and found our holes. Our offense sputtered after being so in sync the previous game. We fell behind in the first inning and could never catch up. We had a couple good innings where we scored a few runs, but just couldn't get that big rally going. I think the only throw out at first that we had all game was when Colby played a grounder to me from third in the very last inning. That's pretty bad for us because we usually are so crisp in the infield. Oh well. It's double elimination so hopefully we can get it going again in two weeks for game #2...
