Peep My Crew: Amber

So I've decided to do a little spotlight on some of my nearest and dearest, my Crew. I've asked each of them to tell a little about how they met me, some funny experiences, and I'll give a little insight on them as well. I've been really blessed in my life to be surrounded by great people who have helped me more than I could ever express, and they make it amazing to be me! So they deserve a shout out. Peep my Crew!

*****

This is Amber, a.k.a. my wife, and I'm not sure where I would be without her! Wherever it would be, it wouldn't be as good as I have it now because of her. We were lucky enough to meet each other when we were 16 and the rest, as they say, is history. I think we probably scared our parents with how close we were at such a young age, but I knew from the very beginning that I would want to marry her someday... I still wonder what I ever did to win her over or be lucky enough to be with someone so beautiful, kind, dedicated, responsible, and funny. And now we have an amazing little boy together with another baby on the way! Wow! She's always been so supportive of me and my dreams, even my backpacking trips with theBRIGADE that take me away for days at a time. She's always waiting for me with open arms and a smile when I get home. I couldn't ask for a better friend, companion, and support in life. Thanks, Bun!

How long have you known me?
Since I was 16 so... Almost 10 years!

How did we meet?
We "met" on the phone... Then officially in the K-Mart parking lot.

What's something funny that has happened between us?
Too many to mention! A lot of those funny random moments where Jake just throws out a random comment out there and makes everybody laugh. But catching a goose at the park and putting it in our friends' house was probably one of the most random things we've ever done.

What's your favorite memory we share?
The day we got married, the day Jeremy was born, and every day that I get to wake up next to you... and the day you came after me into the women's bathroom at Wendy's when I was crying.

Any words of wisdom?
That's what she said.
