Elder's Quorum BBQ 2010

I'd be remissed if I didn't report on the EQ BBQ we had last month. This came about as a request from the Quorum because we didn't really have a BBQ planned after the ward decided to do their BBQ on the same day as ours. It turned out really good, though. We didn't have as many people there as we would have liked, but we had more than last year! So that's good. We lit a whole bag of charcoal on fire and then added wood to get a good blaze/coals going for our burgers and dogs. We set up a volleyball net and also a shuttlecock net. We decided to have a shuttlecock tournament and it was pretty intense. I'm stoked to say that I took home the "Golden Shuttlecock!" (No big deal!) Don't worry, it's already got a place of honor in my garage. We also played some other games too. It was just nice to get together with other people from the ward and have a good time. We really love this ward...
