Watching Prince Caspian

Tonight we're watching "Prince Caspian." I think most people know that author C. S. Lewis created religious parodies to his characters in the books, the most well known being Aslan the Lion and Jesus the Christ. Throughout the movie, the characters spend most of their time wondering why Aslan hasn't come to help and them and rely only on their own strength. The youngest girl, Lucy, is the only one who has been able to see or hear Aslan. It's not until they learn that instead of Aslan coming to them, they should have been coming to Him that they are saved. Maybe we all need to spend less time waiting and more time truly SEEKING Christ in our lives.

  1. I have never seen the movies, but I fully agree we all need to push a bit harder to be closer to Christ! Thanks for the Christmas inspiration!
